Fried UDON Noodles: YAKI UDON Perfect Sauce Balance Bonus: How to make udon noodles

Today, I show you how to make a Yaki Udon.
It’s a delicious stir-fried noodle dish with vegetables.
‘Yaki’ (焼き) means ‘grilled’ or ‘stir-fried’,
and ‘Udon’ (うどん) are thick wheat-flour noodles.
I’m making this yakiudon with vegetables, tofu and to season it I use soy sauce, mirin for sweetness, and a touch of vinegar for balance. Bon appétit !

👩‍🍳 Ingredients for 4 people
4 pre-cooked udon noodles (about 2 lb in total)
½ lb firm tofu
½ lb button mushrooms
1 carrot
1 bell pepper
1 celery stalk
1 green onion
1 onion
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tbsp sesame oil
Toasted sesame seeds
½ tsp ground pepper
3 tbsp vegetable oil

Seasoning Sauce:
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp mirin
1 tbsp white rice vinegar
½ tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp gochujang chili paste (optional)
