What is EVO ICL Eye Surgery? Unlike LASIK, which reshapes the cornea, EVO ICL involves placing a soft, biocompatible lens inside the eye—between your iris and natural lens—to correct vision without removing any corneal tissue. The procedure is quick, typically taking 20–30 minutes, and most people notice immediate improvement in vision. It’s ideal for people with moderate to severe nearsightedness, with or without astigmatism, especially if they have thin corneas or dry eyes due to use of contact lenses. In this video, I break down how EVO ICL works, what the procedure was like for me, and who might be a good candidate.
