Ingredients:
1 basa fish filet, cut into slices
2 plum tomatoes, cut into wedges
2 green onions, sliced
5 slices of ginger
5 gloves of garlic, sliced
1 tsp Sichuan (Szechuan) peppercorns
2 tsp chicken bouillon
3 and 1/2 cup of water
salt
white pepper powder
ShaoXing cooking wine
avocado or vegetable oil
Written recipe for Chinese Fish and Noodle Soup:
1. Heat up 1 tbsp oil on medium high heat in a pan, and sauté the white part of green onions, ginger , garlic, and Sichuan peppercorns for about 10 seconds.
2. Add half of the tomatoes, and stir fry about 30 seconds.
3. Pour water into the pan, and bring it to boil.
4. Drop the fish slices and rest of the tomatoes. Cook about 4 to 5 minutes.
5. Cook noodles separately in a pot.
6. Place noodles in a bowl, and pour the fish soup over to fill up. Serve!
